Just sending this note to the Faze 4  for a wonderful evening.
Our guests raved at the performance Play by Play gave.  Danielle & Dalf's wedding on November 11, 2006 was a spectacular event.  The Angel Orensanz Foundation located on the lower East Side was the site of an astounding musical feast.  The band was not to be believed. The choreographed to perfection the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception.  The Ceremony was handled with jus the right aplomb to intrigue all and the Jazz cocktail hour was wonderful.  The atmosphere you provided with your musical selections traversed all boundaries.  We wonder why any would ever hire any other band.  This is the second event where Play by Play were our chosen musicians.  They have exhibited a level of professionalism that surpasses anything we had hoped for.

Bob, I knew when I first spoke to you that all would b e well and it was more than that.  Our guests were overwhelmed.  We had a few professional musicians at our party who spoke about how great the band played and how excellent the vocalists were.  Each vocalist added his or her own style and all were wonderful.
Again, I have no doubt that you will be the band of choice at our next event.

Just wanted to pass along all of the wonderful feedback that we received from our wedding at the Venetian Yacht Club...

Play by Play was outstanding!!!  From our first song...(which was absolutely amazing) to the last song of the night, the dance floor was packed!  Everyone is still asking me where I found such an unbelievable band.  The vocalists were all terrific.  Some of the guests came up to me to comment on how awesome the horn section was.  Everyone thought that there was a CD playing during dinner because Tommy sounded exactly like each artist he was performing...from Billy Joel to Elton John to Bruce.  I remember getting up during dinner and seeing people holding up candles and lighters like they were at a concert.  

The entire band was extremely professional and couldn't have sounded better.  I attended 12 different band showcases before I selected Play by Play for my wedding and I am so glad that I did.  We would highly recommend Play by Play!

From the moment we saw and heard you almost four years ago at a friend's wedding, we knew you'd be a part of ours someday. Your sound quality and stage presence sold you to us immediately. Due to our recommendation, you played again at another friend's affair and we loved you even more the second time. After hearing everyone raving about you, we followed our hearts and chose you to be "our band".
 For weeks leading up to our special day, we showed our friends, family and colleagues your CD and online video clips. They were amazed at what they heard, and were even more amazed when they saw you perform live.

We loved how you became a part of our party by coming onto the dance floor and having fun with us. Dear Bob, 

 My husband and I got married on Saturday, December 17^th, 2005 and after attempting to sit down to write the perfect “thank you” letter many times, I think I finally did it.

When Jay and I first heard “Play by Play” at a friend’s wedding four years ago, we were only dating, but agreed that this was the best band we had ever heard.  We didn’t stop dancing the whole night, and the dance floor was always packed.  We especially loved Mike’s voice when he sang songs by Frank Sinatra and Tommy’s singing as Billy Joel.  All the singers were incredible.

Two years later we recommended this band to my best friend.  She also loved the band and chose them for her summer wedding.  She also had a packed dance floor and many positive remarks about the music as well. 

Finally, another year later, my time had come.  Although I knew I loved “Play by Play”, I wanted to explore my options being that I have a musical ear and wanted to just “make sure”.  After many showcases, and dancing in our seats watching them, my husband and I agreed that “Play by Play” was our band and that “three times (was indeed) a charm”.  No other band could compare in our eyes, or ears.

            Tommy and the crew were amazing at all these events and especially at ours!  They had great stage presence, and we loved when they came out onto the dance floor to sing and dance with our guests. I had never seen that done before, this was just another pleasant surprise.  They knew exactly what to play and when to play it, keeping the night lively. 

When I sang, “From this Moment” to my husband, I was a nervous wreck. However, the band had the lyrics ready for me on the music stand and was able to play along with me just fine.  They made me sound so professional that I even received a standing ovation!

            We would highly recommend this band to anyone looking for great music and entertainment. Their professionalism, personality and voice quality make them a pleasure to not only listen to, but to watch as well.  Our family and friends had a blast the entire time and we love listening to them over and over on our wedding DVD.

Play by Play performed at our wedding on May 8, 2004 and they were absolutely phenomenal. It is now more than three weeks after the wedding, and the guests are still talking and raving about the band. The wedding didn't end until 3:30 in the morning, and because of the band's energy and great music, the guests were on the dance floor until the end of the party. Even my grandmother danced the night away! They really made the party a terrific success.

To Bob,

    We're currently waiting for our honeymoon departure date to arrive and I
just wanted to take the time and say thank you for the great help that you
and your company has given us.  It's been almost a year since we walked into
your studio and decided to book PLAY BY PLAY for our wedding.  We made a
great choice and it was able to provide myself and my bride with a lot of
great memories for the future. 

Darleen and Michael are amoung the best performers that I have ever seen
outside of Lincoln Center and Madison Square Garden and they deserve the
highest recognition as do all the members of their band for their terrific
performance.
My friends and family members still don't understand how I had the
connections to book Billy Joel, Bruce Springstein, Marc Anthony, The Bee
Gees, Etta James and Andre Boccelli all into one room, however with a little
help from PLAY BY PLAY, they made the music come alive!! 

Please pass along our sincerest thanks for all of their help and let them
know that since Lorrie has a brother we may require there services again
someday so make sure they rest those vocal cords, I'll make sure to do my
part and tell everyone to rest their legs in preparation, as this band
certainly makes you get up and dance!!!

We can't even thank you enought for making our wedding so wonderful.  In the wake of the September 11 disaster, and our wedding being on September 15, we all needed a little music to lift our hearts.  We worried about all the little things and Bob told us not to worry and he was right.  Little did we know how much the little things didn't matter at that point.  You guys were so great and we are still talking about how great our band was.  We have referred you to numerous people.  So many people swore that the CD was playing and not the band. we even had someone who swore that Andrea Bocelli himself was at the wedding.  Michael, you did a fabulous job!  We thank you for making us all dance the night away and for a short time forget what was happening in the world around us.  We can't even tell you how much it meant to us to have you sing God Bless America.  I am sure you never have had a request for that at a wedding, but our wedding was certainly unique if only for what was happening only a few hours away.  Thank you, thank you, thank you.  We apologize for the delay in this thanks, we have been quite busy since the wedding, we have moved to Atlanta secondary to Sept. 11 and the effect on jobs.  Thank you for making our wedding such a great success and a fabulous party!

I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know just how pleased we were with Michael Corvino and Play By Play. We have been showered with compliments since the day of our wedding. And they haven't stopped. Michael and the band put on such an awesome show. They really took the time to cater to our needs and made a special day that much more special. I had never seen so many heads turn when Michael belted out Bocelli during dinner. He received a standing ovation right during the main course. It was amazing that they were able to fit classical Italian music in with current dance hits and everything in between.     I had to write to tell you how fantastic Play by Play was at our daughter's wedding last Sunday, February 27, 2000 at Crest Hollow.
